Deborah Proffitt has been promoted to vice president, department of defense operations at Purvis Systems Inc. She will be responsible for the performance of all operations and business development activities to expand the company’s customer base. Proffitt has more than 25 years of defense and commercial consulting experience. She has an MBA from the University of Rhode Island and is a certified project management professional. •
