PROVIDENCE – Developers Jordan Durham and Peter Gill Case have purchased 143 Westminster St. in Providence’s financial district and plan to renovate the lobby and common areas, the partnership announced Tuesday.
The three-story, 15,000-square-foot building currently houses a Dunkin’ Donuts and Ikon Office Solutions, and is 87 percent leased, Durham said in a news release. The purchase price was not disclosed. On the other end from Westminster Street, the mansard-roofed building fronts Kennedy Plaza.
“This acquisition is an indication of our belief in the long-term prospects for growth and appreciation in downtown Providence,” said Jordan Durham, principal of D+P Real Estate. “Westminster Street and Kennedy Plaza are really two of the best addresses in Providence for commercial real estate, and we are pleased to add this property to our portfolio.”
Last year, Durham purchased and renovated the former Ritz Camera building on Orange Street that is now home to Congress Tavern.
