Do you believe that RIPEC’s operational plan for the next two years will help the state economy?

Posted:

At its 2013 annual meeting last week, the Rhode Island Public Expenditure Council adopted an operational plan for the next two years designed to help guide the state’s economic development efforts by focusing on four components of public policy:

  • The cost of doing business in Rhode Island

  • Education and workforce development

  • Transportation and infrastructure

  • State and local fiscal policy

RIPEC will issue reports, comments and perform consulting work on these issues as needed while continuing its long-standing publication of reports that examine how public bodies raise and spend money.

Do you think RIPEC’s efforts will bring accelerated economic growth to Rhode Island?
