Dr. Herbert Rakatansky has been appointed to the board of directors at Rhode Island Free Clinic. Rakatansky, M.D., is a clinical professor emeritus at Brown University. He has served as a member of the school’s faculty since 1971 and was a former partner at Gastroenterology Associates of Providence for more than 40 years. He earned his medical degree from Tufts University. •
