Why did you select your profession? I’m passionate about making health care understandable and affordable. Helping retirees navigate Medicare is a first step in improving health literacy.

What’s the best career advice you’ve received? Commit to a vision and then figure it out.

What advice would you give your 22-year-old self? Don’t let perfect stand in the way of great. Take immediate action toward whatever it is you want.

What’s the last book that you read and what quote can you remember from it? “The Aladdin Factor,” “If you don’t ask, the answer is always no.”

Is your career arc moving fast enough? Why or why not? I’m a believer we dictate our own career arc. There has never been a better time to think outside of the box and not let traditional career arcs [keep us] from dictating our own productivity. •
