PROVIDENCE – Dunkin’ Donuts is celebrating National Doughnut Day on Friday by offering customers a free doughnut of their choice with the purchase of any beverage.
The offer is good all day on June 3 at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants nationwide and as long as supplies last.

On National Doughnut Day, Dunkin’ Donuts guests also can use special brand Snapchat filters available all day in or around all Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants.

National Doughnut Day was originally established in 1938 by the Chicago Salvation Army to honor women who served doughnuts to soldiers during World War I. The holiday is traditionally celebrated on the first Friday of June.

Founded in 1950, Dunkin’ Donuts is the No. 1 retailer of doughnuts in America, selling 2.8 billion doughnuts and Munchkins doughnut hole treats annually worldwide.
