Dupuis Oil has announced it will partner with the Rhode Island chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society by contributing donations to the society and discounts to customers.
Each time an MS Society member opens an account with Dupuis, the heating and air-conditioning company says it will give $100 to the organization.
In addition, Dupuis Oil will donate 10 cents for each gallon purchased by new and existing customers while passing along a 10-cent-per-gallon discount to the customers.
In the event a new customer has service work performed, Dupuis Oil will donate 2 percent of the total cost of a paid service job to the chapter.
“We wanted to support the extraordinary work the Rhode Island chapter does to help people who are living with multiple sclerosis and the challenges it brings,” said company owner Marc Dupuis.
For the past six years, Dupuis has participated in the chapter’s largest fundraising event, Bike MS: Ride the Rhode, in which cyclists ride 150 miles during two summer days. •
