Eisenhower House open for event rentals following $2.2M renovation

NEWPORT – Eisenhower House, at Fort Adams State Park, is open for year-round event rentals following a $2.2 million renovation.
The mansion, once the summer home of President Dwight D. Eisenhower, is owned by the state of Rhode Island, which has issued new rental rates for the facilities. It was built in 1873 as the commandant’s house at Fort Adams, then an active fortification to defend the coast from naval invasion.
The property includes expansive views of the Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay. For more information, visit the site at www.eisenhowerhouse.com.
