NEW BEDFORD – Eleven local businesses have been nominated by the New Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce and BankFive for the Greater New Bedford 2012 Small Business of the Year Award.
Businesses were chosen based on achievements in job creation and building economic opportunities through the South Coast region.
“The issues and concerns of small businesses are essential components of Chamber initiatives, and the success of our member programs is dependent on the involvement of local professionals,” said the Chamber release announcing the nominees.

The winners will be announced at the New Bedford Area Chamber’s Good Morning SouthCoast! program on June 14th.
