Why did you select your profession? There weren’t a lot of opportunities right out of college. A business degree was great, but due to the recession, there wasn’t much work. A good friend got me into this industry and helped me start my career.

What’s the best career advice you’ve received? Hit-by-a-bus theory. If someone is removed or temporarily out, the person under them or next to them needs to be able to come in and take over seamlessly. If you know everyone’s job, then you’re always the next one up that will be relied on. Never shy away from the opportunity.

Is your career arc moving fast enough? Why or why not? Absolutely not. It wouldn’t be fun to slow down right now. We have a good time here, but know the foot needs to be pushed down on the pedal at all times. Thank you to the Weisman family and supporters. •
