VICE PRESIDENT, REGIONAL MANAGER – Bank Rhode Island
AGE: 36

Why did you select your profession?
My career in banking began as a summer teller during college. I never expected that summer job would be the steppingstone to my career.

What’s the best career advice you’ve received?
Make career choices based on the goals you have for yourself and always chase success, not money.

What advice would you give your 22-year-old self?
Listen more and talk less.

What is your favorite Rhode Island escape or hobby?
Growing up, I spent every summer in Narragansett at my family’s beach house and that is how I fell in love with the water. My husband and I love boating with our two sons.

How do you keep a work-life balance?
I do a lot of juggling to balance the things I am passionate about: my family, career and community service.

What one thing in your professional life would you like a do-over on?
There really isn’t anything I would do over in my professional life. Whether it was positive or negative, success or failure, every experience has made me who I am today.
