PROVIDENCE – The U.S Small Business Administration appointed a North Smithfield native, Gary Ezovski, to serve on one of its Regulatory Fairness Boards on Monday.
The 10 Regional Regulatory Fairness Boards, located in major cities across the country, report to the Office of the National Ombudsman in D.C. Board members help plan regulatory fairness hearings and outreach events for small business owners to discuss federal regulations.
SBA Administrator Karen Mills appointed Ezovski, a business owner and chairman of the R.I. SBA regulations committee, to the Region I Board that contains Conn., R.I., Mass., N.H., Va. and Maine.
The original story incorrectly called the SBA the U.S. Small Business Association instead of the U.S. Small Business Administration.
