Feibelman, Hagan travel to Washington

WASHINGTON – Rhode Island naturopathic practitioner Marcy Feibelman and naturopathic medicine advocate Molly Hagan recently traveled to Washington, D.C., to join other practitioners of naturopathic medicine and advocates to ask Congress for greater Medicare coverage for natural medicine programs.

Speaking in the nation’s capital, Hagan said the majority of Medicare patients want better access to natural medicine. Feibelman said that naturopathic treatment is strong when it comes to prevention.

“Naturopathic medicine emphasizes prevention and whole body wellness,” said Feibelman. “Now is the time to make sure people have access to this health option.”
