Mixed Magic Theatre’s latest production, August Wilson’s “Fences,” is a drama of lost dreams, broken promises and the struggle to not strike out. Set in Pittsburgh in the 1950s, the story centers on former Negro Leagues baseball player Troy Maxon and the seemingly stable life he share with his family and friends. As the story continues, the audience learns just how that stability is threatened. Fences will run through Sunday, March 17.
