PROVIDENCE – In advance of the upcoming deadline for the business plan competition, a workshop about presenting to investors will be held March 12 at the Betaspring office, 95 Chestnut St., third floor.
The workshop, to be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m., is sponsored by the Rhode Island Business Plan Competition and represents the final workshop before the March 30 application deadline for the 2015 competition, which will award up to $200,000 in prizes.
Those who attend will learn how to speak to investors’ key interests, how to explain that their idea will make money, the best way to use PowerPoints and what to avoid. The workshop is free, but preregistration is required. Visit www.ri-bizplan.com for information about the competition and workshop.
