It’s a local credit union with the distinction of being Rhode Island’s first. In 1915, Navigant Credit Union opened its doors in the basement of Notre Dame Parish in Central Falls. Since then, it has upheld its core values of staying committed to the financial well-being of the families, businesses and communities it serves.
With more than 200 statewide employees, Navigant provides its members with a complete line of consumer financial services, including checking accounts and real estate mortgages. The credit union’s volunteer program, V-Force, encourages community participation by granting employees one paid day of service per year to participate in an approved, local activity. Past efforts have benefited Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity and Relay for Life.
