PBN: When a medical emergency takes place at McCoy, how will the decision be reached regarding which hospital is best? Will the bulk of patients go to Memorial, for instance?
HASKELL:
The decision to which hospital is based upon patient assessment and then the determination is made to transport nearest appropriate medical facility. Depending on the circumstances, patients could be transported to Memorial, Miriam or Rhode Island hospitals.

PBN: Did the former ambulance company provide information on its service history, and if so what was the most helpful information?
HASKELL:
The owner of the former ambulance company has been very helpful and insightful as he and his staff developed the EMS policy and procedures for McCoy. We have hired many of the staff to work on our behalf at McCoy ensuring a seamless transition.

PBN: For a sellout game, what would be the anticipated ambulance needs be?
HASKELL
: We would hope our presence would be nothing more than an insurance policy and the needs for our service would not be needed. We are, of course, ready to meet any and all medical needs. We do provide two ambulances staffed at the Advanced Life Support level.
