Collette Foundation, the charitable arm of tour operator Collette, has named the Pawtucket Soup Kitchen as its 2014 Charity of the Year. As Charity of the Year, the nonprofit will receive a $5,000 grant from Collette as well as other financial, in-kind and volunteer support.
“We are so grateful to be chosen as the Collette Foundation 2014 Charity of the Year,” said Adrienne Marchetti, executive director of the Pawtucket Soup Kitchen. “The funding and volunteer efforts by Collette Foundation will make what we do a lot easier. Being named as their 2014 charity … was unexpected yet wonderful news! We look forward to working with the Collette team throughout the year.”
As Collette Foundation’s 2014 Charity of the Year, Pawtucket Soup Kitchen will also receive donations from Collette’s Dress Down Fund, matched by the local arm of Collette Foundation, annual fall food collection and holiday gift drive, along with volunteer assistance from Collette employees. •
