Cost to obtain franchise:

Startup costs typically range from $409,701 to $1,095,359

Before opening franchise:

“My business partner and I operated a number of small- to medium-sized businesses in the medical field.”

Reason for opening:

“We started several businesses beforehand – and even though starting from scratch is exciting, rewarding and challenging – we thought we would try the franchise route. We looked at different opportunities and Camp Bow Wow stood out because they’re a leader in the dog-care field – no one else comes close to their size and breadth of experience.” n

“We’re the largest doggie day care with boarding and grooming services, and have 15 years and 150 locations worth of experience. Most of the methods we use – from how to care, how to let them play, and how we clean the place – are all based on extensive research. We work with universities, veterinarians and some of the top care experts in the country.”

“After the Rhode Island economy started to show signs of strength and rebounding – we wanted to get in on that growth and excitement. The people in R.I. love their dogs and treat them as part of the family.”

“We have 37 cameras in the facility and most are completely open to the public. The pups’ parents can watch their pups play all day long, and in our luxury suites parents can even watch their dogs in the evening with our night-vision cameras. The luxury suites also have TVs and DVD players.”
