PROVIDENCE – GTECH Corp., the gaming subsidiary of Rome’s Lottomatica Group SpA has signed an exclusive, multi-year license and representation agreement with Caesars Entertainment Corp. subsidiary Caesars Entertainment Operating Company Inc., GTECH announced Thursday.

In 2008, GTECH executed a four-year agreement to exclusively offer the World Series of Poker, Caesars and Harrah’s brands to the lottery industry for use with certain lottery games. Today, GTECH announced the finalization of a new four-year agreement that grants it continuing exclusive rights to offer the Caesars and Harrah’s brands to the lottery industry.

The deal includes exclusive rights to certain lottery games under the original agreement and adds the Flamingo, Paris Las Vegas, Rio and Horseshoe brands to the rights licensed.

According to a news release, the rights of the World Series of Poker brand have also been extended under a separate agreement.
