Why did you select your profession?
I liked the aspect of public accounting that allows me to meet and work with a variety of different kinds of people and different kinds of businesses. There is something (or someone) new and different every day.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever been given?
The best advice is to work smarter, not harder. There is often a creative way to reduce your personal “to-do” list.
What advice would you give your 22-year-old self?
Be yourself! It can be scary not to “fit the mold,” but that ultimately is what makes you successful.
What is your favorite Rhode Island escape or hobby?
! I would sit on the beach from sunrise to sunset.
How do you keep a work-life balance?
Setting priorities is key. … When choosing how to spend time, I have to remind myself that your work generally waits for you, but people and personal time might not. •
