GreenBytes showcases vIO solution at CeBIT

PROVIDENCE – GreenBytes Inc., a developer of desktop-virtualization services, is presenting its vIO desktop virtualization solution at the CeBIT convention in Hanover, Germany from March 5 to 9.
The vIO system is a virtual storage appliance version of its award-winning desktop virtualization solution version of the company’s popular the IO Offload Engine.
GreenBytes is demonstrating the technology alongside Germany-based reseller partner Losstech as part of the comTeam booth in Hall 15, Stand F79.
Like the desktop system, vIO uses GreenBytes’ patented zero latency inline deduplication technology to deliver full-featured, persistent, virtual desktops at a cloud-scale. The cloud model provides end users with a virtual desktop experience quite similar to familiar physical desktop systems but with 97 percent less storage space required.
“GreenBytes has emerged as one of the top desktop virtualization innovators in an increasingly hot and growing market, and we’re excited to showcase the vIO at the CeBIT 2013 convention in Hannover,” said Boris Hajek, CEO of Losstech.
“Our GreenBytes showcase last year was very successful, and we’re looking forward to presenting the new vIO solution in action to the CeBIT audience, taking desktop virtualization performance to a whole new level,” added Hajek.
