WARWICK – Greenwood Credit Union has completed a monthslong renovation and marked it with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Sept. 23 that kicked off a week of activities.
“This project represents a very tangible commitment to a strong future at GCU,” Greenwood Credit Union President Jim Irving said in a message to members.
“We are now the third largest credit union in Rhode Island, with assets of over $370 million,” said Irving. “We’re large enough to help with commercial loans, as well as personal loans, and still small enough to genuinely care about our members.”
Greenwood Credit Union Chairman state Sen. William Walaska, Warwick Mayor Scott Avedisian, other state and local officials and credit union members participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony.
