Why did you select your profession?
I selected my profession because I have always had an affinity for mathematics and the sciences, as well as problem-solving. I can utilize these skills while bringing new and innovative medicines to patients with serious illness.
Where do you see yourself professionally in 10 years?
I see myself continuing to grow as a professional in the biopharmaceutical industry.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever been given?
There is a solution to every problem.
What advice would you give your 22-year-old self?
Be more willing to step out of your comfort zone.
What is your favorite escape or hobby?
Music. I enjoy collecting and listening to live music.
How do you keep a work-life balance?
I take advantage of the gym at work for exercise. Once I am at home, I do my best to disconnect from the workday and focus my energy on enjoying time with my wife and three daughters.
What one thing in your professional life would you like a do-over on?
If I had to choose, I would say declining an expat opportunity in Puerto Rico. It would have been a very interesting personal and professional experience. •
