PROVIDENCE – The six-month project to plan for the future of Rhode Island’s health care delivery system, funded by a $1/6 million grant and coordinated by Lt. Gov. Elizabeth H. Roberts, will hold its first working group session on April 25 at 8 a.m. at the Brown Continuing Education Center on Dyer Street.
The initiative, dubbed Healthy Rhode Island, seeks to create a plan to transform the state’s current health care delivery system, moving it from one based on volume and fee-for-service to one based on volume, achieving better population health outcomes at a lower costs.
At the initial session, Roberts will introduce the project, its scope and process for completing the work.
