It was a natural fit. I don’t remember picturing myself as anything other than a lawyer.
Where do you see yourself professionally in 10 years?
In 10 years, I hope to be known as one of the pre-eminent employment litigators in New England. I also hope to still be actively involved in my nonprofit, Style Up Inc.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever been given?
You make your own opportunities.
What one thing in your professional life would you like a do-over on?
I wish that I had explored opportunities to work outside of Rhode Island earlier in my career. I love where I am now, but … I think that leaving Rhode Island for a period of time would have made me appreciate it even more. •
