Admissions to the Newport Mansions increased 11 percent in 2012, the largest one-year jump in attendance ever for the group of iconic Gilded Age homes.

The Preservation Society of Newport County has decided to increase the hours of operation for the 11 mansions in 2013 even more than it did last year.

Were you and/or your family part of the 883,000 people who took advantage of the extended hours and new tours that the society put in place in 2012?
