Eric Asimov, the chief wine critic of the New York Times, will stop by Providence’s Book on the Square Friday to read passages from his latest book and partake in a wine tasting. “How to Love Wine, a Memoir and Manifesto,” examines why American wine culture produces such feelings of anxiety, and suggests how readers can overcome fears and develop a sense of discovery and wonder as they explore the diversity and complexity of the world of wine.
