Hyland named CEO of Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England

WARWICK – Following a national search, the Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England’s Board of Directors has named Pam J. Hyland as the organization’s CEO.
“After careful consideration and an in-depth national search, my fellow board members and I believe that Pam Hyland is the right person to lead our council,” said Lisa M. DeCubellis, board chairwoman.
Hyland’s 35 years of management experience in the not-for-profit sector have allowed her to harness a multitude of leadership skills including strategic planning, human relations, coalition building, team building and problem solving, DeCubellis said.
Hyland has held several leadership positions amid various Girl Scout councils in South Carolina, New York, Virginia and overseas.
Hyland will join the Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England on Dec. 9 after leaving as president and CEO of Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways in Cicero, N.Y.
The council has been operating since March of this year under the direction of interim CEO, Pamela Delaney. DeCubellis thanked Delaney for her service during the transition.
