IDT911 changes name to CyberScout

PROVIDENCE – IDT911 has changed its name to CyberScout, reflecting its mission to protect targets of cybercrime.

The company has five offices located in Providence; Scottsdale, Ariz.; New York; Montreal; and Galway, Ireland. The transition to the new brand will be complete in June.

“I founded IDT911 almost 14 years ago, as the first company in the identity theft protection space with a core competence in education and resolution,” Adam Levin, founder of CyberScout, formerly IDT911, said in a statement. “While our mission hasn’t changed, the cyberthreats facing businesses and consumers have multiplied and become increasingly complex and our services have evolved accordingly. The new CyberScout brand more accurately reflects how we protect and aid consumers and businesses in an era of unprecedented risk to their privacy and data.”

CyberScout offers comprehensive identity management and data security services for more than 17.5 million households and 770,000 businesses.
