IGT extends contract to provide instant ticket printing services to Idaho Lottery

PROVIDENCE – International Game Technology PLC said it has extended its contract with the Idaho Lottery and will continue providing Scratch Games printing services through March 2019.

IGT said in a news release that the agreement is through its subsidiary, IGT Global Solutions Corp. The Idaho Lottery Commission approved the extension, which is the second, two-year one that has been exercised on the existing contract, at its regular meeting on Nov. 17.

IGT also will provide game planning, ticket design, marketing support and analytics. It provides more than 70 percent of printing for the Idaho Lottery’s Scratch Games.

Last year, IGT said the Idaho Lottery broke records, giving $49.5 million to Idaho public schools and the Permanent Building Fund, a 10 percent increase from 2015.

Michael Chambrello, IGT CEO, North America Lottery, said IGT values the opportunity to continue working with the Idaho Lottery.

“Together we will work to deliver pioneering games and solutions to Idaho Lottery players, which drive sales and maximize funds generated for Idaho’s good causes,” Chambrello said in prepared remarks.
