IGT signs agreement with Société de la Loterie Suisse Romande

PROVIDENCE – International Game Technology PLC’s subsidiary, IGT Global Services Limited, recently signed an agreement with Société de la Loterie Suisse Romande to provide its Aurora suite of solutions and services to the Swiss market.

This agreement is an amendment to an existing 10-year agreement effective through 2023. Loterie Romande has been a customer of IGT, previously as legacy GTECH, since 1994.
“This agreement represents the next evolution in the long-term partnership between IGT and Loterie Romande,” Declan Harkin, senior vice president and chief operating officer, IGT International, said in a statement. “By providing IGT’s new high-performance, high-reliability lottery platform, Loterie Romande will have the flexibility and dynamic, player-focused system that it needs to increase its customer base and revenues to good causes.”

Proceeds generated from IGT’s solution will increase the contributions Loterie Romande provides to the Cantons, which benefit environmental causes and cultural events, and provide support for education and health care programs.
