Inaugural C-Suite Awards winners named, CVS’ Bisaccia takes top prize

PROVIDENCE – Lisa Bisaccia, executive vice president and chief human resources officer for CVS Health Corp., has received the Career Achiever award in Providence Business News’ inaugural C-Suite Awards program.
Bisaccia is a 15-year veteran at the Woonsocket-based pharmacy and health retail giant, with responsibility for its more than 245,000 global employees.
Reporting to CVS President and CEO Larry J. Merlo, she is tasked with integrating employees from companies CVS has acquired as well as preparing the workforce for a dramatically evolving health care marketplace.
In addition to her human resources duties, Bisaccia also oversees the company’s corporate social responsibility and philanthropic department, which makes an average of $80 million per year in cash giving, employee volunteerism and in-kind donations.
Joining Bisaccia in this first class of C-Suite winners are people who take care of the details that allow company leaders to lead strategically, from for-profit enterprises, nonprofits and quasi-governmental agencies.
