Innovex acquires Cranston IT-consulting firm

LINCOLN – Business technology provider Innovex announced on Oct. 17 that it has acquired Cranston-based IT consulting and Web-development firm Netsense.
Netsense operations will move to the Innovex offices in Lincoln, and by the end of the year, the company will assume the Innovex name. A re-launch of Innovex as a fully integrated company is planned for 2014.
“Combining the resources and talent of Netsense and Innovex creates a unique company here in New England that can bundle, until now, unheard-of solutions that will help our clients work smarter and more efficiently,” said Peter Parisi, CEO and owner of Innovex, in a news release.
As a provider of office equipment technology, managed services, digital signage and office supplies for more than 50 years, Innovex forged a close relationship over the years with Netsense, which specializes in IT infrastructures and digital marketing services for organizations across New England.
Netsense’s unique services, such as website and application development, will allow Innovex to “provide more forward-thinking, integrated business technology services for all types of businesses,” the company said.
“This is a rare acquisition considering both companies have a long history of working together and collaborating on behalf of our mutual clients,” said Amy Ells, vice president of business development for Netsense. “Becoming an Innovex company gives us all a much bigger playing field.”
