There may be tough times ahead for some selected banks, including some big ones, but I do not believe there will be any systematic crisis as there was in 2007-2008. Leverage and risk exposure have been greatly diminshed, so even if banks are drawn into making the same mistakes, they are generally much nearer to the ground and so won't fall as hard.
