Why did you select your profession? I have always been intrigued in understanding how things work. As a kid, I would take my toys apart and put them back together. I’ve always loved the thought of putting an idea on paper and watching it come alive!

Where do you see yourself professionally in 10 years? Leading a research and development team, looking for the “next big idea” – trying to invent a new, game-changing product.

What’s the last book that you read and what quote can you remember from it? “The Martian” by Andy Weir. “I guess you could call it ‘failure,’ but I prefer the term ‘learning experience.’ ”

Is your career arc moving fast enough? Why or why not? Yes! I never thought I would be where I am today. Hope Global has given me the opportunity to learn and experience many insightful and interesting things. •
