KVH lands $35.6M order from Saudi Arabian National Guard

MIDDLETOWN – KVH Industries Inc. landed a record $35.6 million contract from the Office of the Program Manager for the Saudi Arabian National Guard.

The contract, which KVH announced Thursday, was for roughly $22 million in equipment and $13 million in services to modernize the National Guard’s military vehicles – the largest in the company’s history.

KVH will supply TACNAV TLS and TACNAV Light navigation systems, manage installation, integration and training services as well as the construction of a retrofit facility.

Deliveries of the TACNAV systems are expected to begin in the third quarter of 2012 and continue into 2013.

Installation, integration and training services will be provided by KVH from early 2013 to the second half of 2014.
