Kent Hospital honors graduates

WARWICK – Kent Hospital recently announced the graduation of its fourth class of residents who have completed the emergency medicine, family medicine and internal Medicine graduate medical education programs.

“Graduate Medical Education at Kent continues to grow and gain national recognition,” said Dr. Joseph Spinale, senior vice president, chief medical officer and director of medical education at Kent. “As we say goodbye to one class and welcome another, we do so with pride and confidence knowing that we are helping prepare these physicians for a long career in caring for their patients and the community. As they grow, so does our program, better for each person who has been a part of it.”

The graduates, who comprise the fourth graduating class are: McKaila Allcorn, Katie Chapman, Nicole Coleman, Rebecca Ondrus, Jessica Pelkey-Blum, and Nichole S. Supple (all in emergency medicine); Elizabeth Jasolosky, Megan Johnson, and Erika Line-Nitu (in family medicine); and Autumn Paige Hines, Christopher Palmer, and Christopher Peters (in internal medicine).

A new fellowship program in Gastroenterology was also announced.
