Why did you select your profession? Litigating cases and helping people resolve their disputes was the best means of applying the strengths honed during my education at URI.

Where do you see yourself professionally in 10 years? In the next 10 years, I want to be able to look back and say my clients achieved positive results while AP&S continued to grow, prosper and maintain its rightful place in the Providence market.

What’s the best career advice you’ve received? To paraphrase law professor Robert Brydon Kent, “You must read the rules. There is no help for it.” To paraphrase history professor Maury Klein, “When writing, dribble less, pass more.”

What is your favorite Rhode Island restaurant? Some of the oldest and best memories with my family are enjoying clam cakes, chowder and steamers at Aunt Carrie’s. •
