LEADING WOMEN BREAKFAST

Leading Women will continue its Winter Leadership Breakfast Series on Advancement in action from 8 to 9:30 a.m. in the rotunda of the Crowne Plaza Hotel Providence-Warwick, 801 Greenwich Ave., Warwick. Sandra Colletta, CEO of Kent Hospital, will speak to the theme of courageous leadership, discussing the topic of medical apology stemming from her settlement of the Michael J. Woods malpractice case against Kent Hospital in 2008.

Colletta will talk about the establishment of the Michael J. Woods Institute at Kent Hospital and the goal of redesigning health care from a human-factors engineering perspective. The event begins with informational networking and breakfast, followed by Colletta’s presentation at 8:30 a.m. Strategic networking will take place from 9:15 to 9:30 a.m.
