Lifespan opens two ambulatory care centers

PROVIDENCE – Lifespan has opened two new ambulatory-care centers, one in East Providence, the other in East Greenwich, to make care more convenient for patients, hospital officials announced recently.
Each new care center will house offices for the Cardiovascular Institute, a joint service of Rhode Island Hospital and The Miriam Hospital, as well as Lifespan Labs.
The Ambulatory Care Center in East Providence, located at 950 Warren Ave., opened in late January. An outpatient dialysis center will open this month and a wound care center will open over the summer.
In East Greenwich, the Ambulatory Care Center, located at 1454 South County Trail, opened in February. A pediatric specialty clinic will open in mid-May, and an infusion center for the Comprehensive Cancer Center will open over the summer. •
