Lifespan physical therapists earn national certification

PROVIDENCE – Three physical therapists from Rhode Island and Hasbro Children’s hospitals have been certified by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists.
Melissa Nassaney of Richmond, Catherine Chenot of Burrillville and Meredith Lepley of Middletown were each certified in their specialty.
Nassaney, a clinical coordinator and physical therapist, earned the women’s health clinical specialist certification. She sees patients in Lifespan’s East Greenwich facility on South County Trail and her clinical focus is pelvic-floor disorders.
Chenot, a physical therapist at Lifespan’s Allens Avenue facility in Providence, earned the neurology clinical specialist certification. Her treatment focus is neurologic and vestibular physical therapy. She has worked at Rhode Island Hospital for 28 years.
Lepley is a pediatric physical therapist at Hasbro Children’s Hospital and treats patients at Lifespan’s Children’s Rehabilitation Services outpatient facility in Providence. Her treatment focus is in outpatient orthopedics and developmental physical therapy.
