Local business schools make Princeton Review best business schools list

PROVIDENCE – Four local business schools in Rhode Island and Massachusetts are among the top schools listed in the Princeton Review’s 2015 “Best 296 Business Schools” book and website.
This year’s list includes Bryant University’s School of Business Administration in Smithfield, R.I., the University of Rhode Island’s College of Business Administration in South Kingstown R.I., the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth’s Charlton College of Business in North Dartmouth, Mass., and Babson College’s F. W. Olin Graduate School of Business in Babson Park, Mass.
The list, which include 78 schools in the Northeast, is not ranked hierarchically by the publication. Rather, inclusion on the list is based on an 80-question survey of 21,600 students attending the 296 business schools.
The review also has a comparable listing for 169 law schools. Roger Williams University’s School of Law made the list but the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth School of Law did not.
“Each school in our books offers outstanding academics: no single law or b-school is ‘best’ overall,” Robert Franek, senior vice president and publisher of The Princeton Review said in a press release. “We publish rankings in several categories along with our detailed profiles of the schools to give applicants the broader information they need to determine which school will be best for them.”
The top 10 schools are also listed in 11 categories, including best administered, best campus environment, best career prospects, best classroom experience, best Green MBA, best professors, greatest opportunity for minority students, greatest opportunity for women, most competitive students, most family friendly and toughest to get into.
The Princeton Review is an education services company headquartered in Natick, Mass., with locations across the U.S. and abroad.
