Local companies featured at 18th annual Needham Growth Conference in NYC

Three local companies will be presenting at the 18th annual Needham Growth Conference this week at Lotte New York Palace in New York City.
They are:

  • Middletown’s KVH Industries Inc.’s CEO Martin Kits van Heyningen and Chief Financial Officer Peter Rendall spoke on Jan. 12; their presentation can be accessed at investors.kvh.com.
  • Aspen Aerogels Inc., an energy technology company in Northborough, Mass., will have its president and CEO, Donald R. Young, as well as its vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer, John F. Fairbanks, present on Jan. 13 at 3:30 p.m. A live audio webcast and a replay of the company’s presentation will be available at www.aerogel.com.
  • AstroNova in West Warwick, a manufacturer of data visualization technology for the aerospace, product identification and test and measurement markets, said its president and CEO, Gregory A. Woods, and senior vice president and chief financial officer, Joseph P. O’Connell, will speak on Jan. 14 at 12:10 p.m. They will discuss the company’s strategy and growth opportunities and will conduct one-on-one meetings with investors. The three-day conference, according to The Needham Group Inc., gives institutional investors, private equity firms and venture capitalists access to more than 300 growth companies from industries including communications and enterprise infrastructure; health care; industrial technology; Internet, entertainment and consumer; semiconductors and semiconductor equipment; and software and services.
A goal of the conference “is to deliver investable choices coupled with a better understanding of the rapidly changing environment in which each company operates. The NGC’s early January timing makes it the perfect way to start the year, with a critical eye toward creating the ideal portfolio for 2016,” according to information from the Needham group.
