Why did you select your profession?

I found out I had a passion for business and operations. … Opportunities came my way, and as I took them, and worked hard, additional doors opened for me.

Where do you see yourself professionally in 10 years?

I can’t easily look past where I am right now because I have been taught two very important things in my time here: to live in the moment, and what is for you will not pass you.

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever been given?

Pre-management phase … pay attention to detail and to work through projects to completion. Post-management … be hard on the facts and easy on the personality.

What advice would you give your 22-year-old self?

Save money!

How do you keep a work-life balance?

An iPhone.

What one thing in your professional life would you like a do-over on?

I would have liked to have had more interaction with professional women [early in my career]. •
