Mechanics Cooperative Bank, F.R. Affordable Housing offer seminar

FALL RIVER – In partnership with the Fall River Affordable Housing Corporation, Mechanics Cooperative Bank will offer a two-night seminar on Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 22 and 23 for first-time homebuyers.
In addition to providing on topics that include budgeting, credit, the home search process, lead paint issue, home inspections, obtaining a mortgage and more, the bank will be giving attendees a certificate that will allow them to take advantage of a specialized, first-time homebuyer program, said the bank in prepared remarks.
The sessions are scheduled to go from 5-9 p.m. on both nights at the FRAHC offices at 111 Durfee St., in Fall River. The fee to attend is $35 for an individual, $50 per couple. To register, contact Alice or Bob Landry at (508) 677-2220.
