PROVIDENCE – MedMates, a group dedicated to building the state’s life sciences industry, hosts a free panel discussion Wednesday, “MedTech: Lessons from the Real World.”

Featured panelists are:

  • Eamonn Hobbs, president of Hobbs Medical Ventures, a consulting firm for the medical device/pharmaceutical industry;
  • Dr. Samuel Dudley, a Brown University professor and founder of 3PrimeDx (Chicago), an innovator in development of a blood test to predict sudden cardiac death risk; and
  • Robert Rabiner, the founder of IlluminOss of East Providence, which has over 67 U.S. patents with 80 patents pending.

The session will be moderated by Nick Adams, CEO of the medical IT solutions firm Care Thread of Providence.
