Memorial Hospital names Greene employee of year

PAWTUCKET – Michael Greene, a master mechanic in the Memorial Hospital Facilities Management Department, was named the 2013 Employee of the Year.
Greene was described as a “leader, skilled master technician and top performer in the department, evidenced by his superb work ethic and exemplary actions” by Thomas Mann, department director.
Greene was praised for his positive attitude, his outstanding interpersonal collaboration with others in the hospital, and his can-do attitude.
“Greene consistently received high praises and appreciation from contractors, employees, vendors and engineers,” said Mann. Over the last year, Michael Greene has completed more than 1,000 work orders or projects with 98.42 percent completion rate on critical repair work, according to Mann. •
