PAWTUCKET – The internal-medicine residency program at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island recently announced that 100 percent of the graduating Class of 2014 passed the American Board of Internal Medicine, certifying them as physicians.
This is the program’s seventh consecutive class to achieve the distinction, something only 2-3 percent of internal-medicine residency programs nationwide can claim, according to Memorial.
“This superb distinction speaks to the ongoing hard work, dedication, and commitment of our residents and faculty,” said Dr. Joseph Diaz, physician-in-chief of medicine. •
