Why did you select your profession?

I’ve always been interested in how things work, and I’ve always loved working with people. … The consulting industry is a great fit for me, as you need to be strong in both areas.

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever been given?

Don’t be afraid to challenge conventional wisdom, especially with technology.

What advice would you give your 22-year-old self?

Your career and your life is a journey, not a destination. Don’t always focus on the end game because the path you take can be pretty fun.

How do you keep a work-life balance?

It starts with not being afraid to tell people no. … Communicate with the people you work with that being involved in your family is important to you.

What one thing in your professional life would you like a do-over on?

Early on in my career I should have been more adventurous. … I should have not tried to plan everything out. •
